Over the years OVS Group has accumulated quite a bit of experience generating workflows to help companies optimize their well’s performance. These workflows often deal with optimizing artificial lift or validating a well’s production allocation or model predictions. This experience has been compiled into a set of workflows called Well Performance Analysis (WPA). WPA is available now in the OVS Workflow Library.
WPA uses data gathered from the field and historical allocated production from a corporate data store. It also makes use of the well models to predict the performance of wells based on the current operating parameters. In other instances One Virtual Source may use other tools such as simulators, correlations, or commercial and proprietary analytical models. The Well performance module contains the three most common workflows in any Gas Lift operation are: Well Test Validation, Gas Lift Optimization and Virtual Metering.
